In the Conditioned Crawl Space, we spray foam on the foundation walls only after we put down a thick, mesh reinforced non-permeable moisture barrier between the interior of the crawl space and the perimeter wall. In addition to treating the walls, the ground of the crawl space is completely covered with a vapor barrier completely sealing off the crawl space from outside moisture. Air from the Heating and A/C is ducted into the crawl space; this treats the crawl space as part of the living area, much like a basement. The Conditioned Crawl Space is a "bottom-up" type of crawl space moisture solution.
